After having written so many tales on the impatience, violence and short comings of a growing India, I wanted to end the book by taking a look at the emotional side of things. I wanted to capture that singular shade of people who study hard, get good grades in their Engineering courses and become absolutely obsessed with getting major breaks in Fortune 500 companies in a bid to make their future bright. In that speedy dizziness of achieving what so many middle class Indians know is there definite ticket out of their never ending needs - they sometimes forget to look at things which could possibly be more important, way more imporant, than anything else - their friends. There comes a time in their lives, when the need to succeed overcomes every possible emotion they might have shared in college for so many years. A twist that breaks up relationships and possibly ruins lives.
It is in this quicksand of uncertainty that two good friends - two givers - Gaurav and Vaishali find themselves as their journey to success takes them to various destinations. The good, the bad and the downright nasty. Consequences of one bad decision.
