If there is one thing everyone wants in today's world and can never get enough of - is money. The more we have, the more we want. The less we have, the more we crave. Just like food, money's need is never full. Such a craving is what turned young Prerna to the seduction of lottery tickets. She would spend a fortune each month from her husband Diwakar's earnings to buy more tickets in an effort to 'get rich quick'. As much as Diwakar despised this attitude of hers, there was nothing much he could do to control it. He did set boundaries within which she could spend and that worked well too - but the day when her crazed love for these numbers started becoming an addiction, Diwakar was worried. It started interfering with their marital life and just when he was pondering confronting her about this - she won. It wasn't a princely amount but it was still an indication of that much needed validation she had wanted for all her expenses for so long.
But then fate had something else in mind as Diwakar went to collect the prize money. In an India that is constantly looking for ways to pounce on one another - Diwakar gets into a bus that is destined to change Prerna's life in ways Diwakar had never imagined was possible.
